Asheville, North Carolina (June 3rd, 2020) - Feelfree Gear introduces the Blue Ridge Collection, rugged yet beautifully designed waterproof bags for the urban adventurer who’s true spirit lies within the mountains.
The Blue Ridge Collection was inspired by the craft culture of Asheville, North Carolina USA, a mecca for artists, craftspeople and musicians whose own inspiration comes from the mystical Appalachian Mountains and the unique urban lifestyle of this lively region.
“Over the years, I have spent much of my visitations meandering through the streets of Asheville and the countryside of this beautiful region and I couldn’t help notice a unique cultural style - one that helped inspire the design of this collection,” said Sakun Khieowan, Bag Designer and Head of Joy Sports. “A style that not only embodies the arts, crafts and music but the spirit of outdoor adventure.”
The collection was established through a collaborative effort between a team of adventure bag designers, craftspeople and product engineers with decades of experience in adventure gear. The result of this collaboration was a bag that was fashionable enough for daily use and functional when exposed to the outdoor elements.
Feelfree gear currently offers two primary designs in multiple colors which include the Blue Ridge Collection Playmate, a handbag for daily use and the Blue Ridge Collection Backpack for urban use and off the grid adventure. The bags are simply designed with canvas and highlighted with handmade colorful weaved fabrics that are not only stylish but waterproof giving the bags just as much personality as the people who use them. Both bags feature multiple pockets in and outside, rugged hardware and waterproof zippers for additional content protection.
The Blue Ridge Collection is currently available through Feelfree US and additional exclusive distributor partnerships in Europe, Asia, South America and Australia with continued expansion internationally.
